• Peace Building

I AM PEACE promotes peacebuilding and leadership, conflict management and resolution, and peaceful coexistence as part of its primary mandate.

• Health &Protection

We advocate for the rights of women, girls and children. Our scope is but not limited to Mental Health, Prevention of Early &Forced Marriages, & Promoting Health-Focused Education for all.

• Arts and Entertainment

We use the arts and entertainment as a means of uniting people and communities. It's also crucial for promoting cultural diversity and livelihoods.

I am Peace implements several programs on Peacebuilding & Conflict Mitigation, Health & Protection, Arts & Entertainment, Good Governance and Equality, Inclusion and Diversity. The following are some of our flagship initiatives that fall under the above strategic pillars.

Peace Camp

This is a monthly program that creates a space for people to indulge in conversations around peace, gender, societal issues with the aim of promoting a peaceful society and to strengthen relationships.

Bullets to Books

This program uses the power of arts to promote education. The emphasis is on children and parents to view education as a gateway to a bright future.

Peace, Pen and Pass

This is a school outreach program aimed at imparting conflict resolution and leadership skills to students across South Sudan. This program is aimed at breaking stereotypes, chains of tribalism and conflict by focusing on and introducing non-violence ways of settling disputes.

Connecting Borders

This is a project that aims to bridge the existing gap between people, entities, nationalities and backgrounds.

Through this project, we are opening up the opportunity and the platform for dialogue, communication and learning from each other (as nationals) and also with other people.

Media and Storytelling

I AM PEACE in partnership with the United States Institute of Peace, uses media and storytelling to mitigate hate speech and promote peaceful consistence among South Sudanese communities. Media is a powerful tool that can be used to promote peace far and beyond.

The Men for Women

The Men for Women Initiative is a program in collaboration with Okay Africa Foundation which aims at encouraging men to champion women’s rights, to create awareness on menstrual hygiene and to break taboos surrounding this topic by inviting men to take up the challenge and support women on issues affecting them among forced and early marriages.

Vocalz and Rhymez

I AM PEACE believes that Arts and Entertainment is an avenue that can easily bring people and communities together. It is also important in promoting cultural differences and livelihoods.

Face Off

This is a weekly I AM PEACE radio program which provides a platform for rappers to share their talents. It brings young and old underground and mainstream rappers to connect, collaborate and nurture their music genre.
