About Us
I AM PEACE is a Non-Governmental Organization based in South Sudan that focuses on promoting Peace, Health & Protection, Arts & Entertainment through creation and influence of policies, civic engagement and development, nurturing and building resilience by providing opportunities for youth, women and girls to actively participate in, co-exist and promote peace in South Sudan.

I AM PEACE believes that these are cross-cutting fundamental pillars that must be strengthened in order to achieve a progressive nation. Building a constructive society requires strong systems that are people-centered, inclusive and transparent. Upon establishment in 2017, the organization’s main objective was to create peaceful co-existence within the South Sudanese refugees and the host communities in Uganda, following severe disconnect among the groups.

In May 2018, I AM PEACE officially registered in South Sudan.
To reach our goals and visions, I am Peace implements several programs on Peacebuilding & Conflict Mitigation, Health & Protection, Arts & Entertainment, Good Governance and Equality, Inclusion and Diversity.
